OCs 2.0 will be dramatically different to anything people are used to or expecting, there will be huge numbers of factors here and the gameplay element will be huge compared to 1.0.

We don't want to give too much away, but there will be required involvement from a per person basis, rather than just set it and forget it style setups from OC leaders, but we don't doubt that people will be there to coordinate their members and fine tune the placements for each positions. Things like your existing skills will also be a factor, so those who have already migrated to 2.0 will be at an advantage there for certain roles.

The monetary output we expect to be buffed significantly over 1.0, and we'll be on hand to fine tune this during the initial stages of release. We'll have the option for money and high tier item rewards to be among the possible rewards depending on the level of OCs, with some OCs also acting as pre-requisites to unlock harder ones following your success.

We don't intent for it to be a nerf, so if we feel the rewards aren't suitable we'll buff those. The mid-high OCs we hope will be on similar levels to PAs are now, and the higher tier ones exceeding that. We want to give players something to aim for to put their skills and CE to good use.

That being said, we don't plan on making this compulsory either - if you're wanting a 1.0 experience, then just like Crimes 2.0, you will have the option to migrate to the new OCs or not. We plan to offer the best of both worlds for people here and greatly look forward to seeing how people perform in this upcoming feature which is still on schedule for a release this year.

i think you lack imagination. 60k daily players, theres got to be at least one of us who will be expecting the changes, or at least close to what the changes are

Jokes on you, it's actually an emoji filled furry-porn simulator with Ched's face deepfaked onto every yiffing encounter.

Is that an option for players, or factions? Like, is it possible that a faction has members who are still in OC 1.0 while having members also in OC 2.0, which means OC managers have to juggle with both worlds?

It will be a faction option, the faction itself will either have 1.0 or 2.0 crimes, to be decided by the leader. This means you could, if you wanted, move between factions that have 1.0 and 2.0 OCs, and experience both later on down the line.

New factions would likely default to 2.0 however that is undecided at this time, it is not likely to be immediately set up that way, but something we enable later down the line - like new players and Crimes 2.0.

I don't want to rule out forced migration to 2.0, but it's not currently on our agenda - similar to Crimes 1.0 again, we don't have any immediate plans to force migration, but at the point where we're releasing 2.0 Crimes that are significantly more rewarding than anything you can get in 1.0 it's something that we'll be more seriously considering.

Expectation: faction members are highly involved, doing their part to ensure the best success in the crime

Reality: Now all members have to press the button and HOA-actin faction leaders have another reason to fine their members Xanax

I remember initially, only the "beginner" or low-tier (however you want to phrase it) OCs were going to be available at the start with a sort of Crimes 2.0 rollout planned. Is that still the intention, or can we expect basically all tiers of OCs 2.0 being available (and I understand what you're saying that we may have to do A to unlock B) upon release?

Is the plan to eventually force migrate like it is with crimes 2.0? Can imagine issues arising if only a portion of a faction has migrated to either one- leaders in 1.0 planning members in 2.0 or vice versa, and members on crimes 1.0 with no skills or offenses in 2.0 trying ti complete 2.0 OCs

answered above for the faction bit

R.e. your comments:

Members on Crimes 1.0 will still be able to complete OCs 2.0, there just may be some scenarios where their placement in a crime is sub-optimal compared to comparable CE level players in 2.0. Bear in mind the faction itself will migrate, not individuals, so your faction will be on 1.0 or 2.0, you won't have both options in a single faction.

Can we assume this update will be as planned within this year?

And as I understood crimes 1.0 were supposed to go bye bye, does this mean if you plan to keep OC 1.0 that crimes 1.0 will stay as well?
