With the current fervor for the next round of keepsakes being released, I was curious what everyone thought theirs would be if they got one?

 

Which category? 

Are you an Altruist? Reprobate? Legend? Pioneer? Architect? Elder?

Elder or Architect I suppose, feel like a couple would work

 

What type of image?

Animal? Item? place? Tag?

 

For me, I feel like a General's uniform maybe?

What would best describe your contribution to torn?



No one is quite sure when Stretch first appeared in Torn, only that he’s been here since the dawn of committees, spreadsheets, and chaos itself. Some say he was born fully formed in a staff chat, clutching a clipboard and muttering about Elimination strategy. Others believe he simply stretched into existence one day, filling every leadership role that needed filling, and a few that didn’t.

As a faction leader, his tactical genius has sent enemies scrambling and teammates second-guessing their life choices. As a Committee member, he’s guided the game through countless debates, balancing wisdom, wit, and the occasional facepalm. And as the Elimination overlord, he’s commanded armies of caffeine-fueled maniacs with the calm authority of someone who’s seen too many spreadsheets to fear death.

Whether he’s organizing chaos, mediating mayhem, or quietly fixing the thing you didn’t know was broken, Stretch remains one of Torn’s longest-standing pillars, flexible in name, unbreakable in legacy.

If they went the troll route it could be a 'reprobrate' with a chat screen as Keepsake as you'd be reading them. ;) 

 

Heasley's would for sure be a toilet roll or a nutella pot for his event picture. 

 

For myself I'll probably have to play another 30 years and settle with an Elder one.

I don't think that I have earned one, but my title over two factions has been Savage Gentleman, so maybe a bowler hat and monocle over a bloody crowbar.

 

Internal to my faction I am helpful with fitness advice and general life questions, but on the forums I mostly just banter casually. I suspect that doesn't add up to any particular renown or infamy.

My description would be similar to CRLF and so would my keepsake, which would obviously be a birthday gift filled with weapons and armor sitting on a pile of receipts. I would hope it would be under Altruist, and that I never do anything Legend worthy.

 

I think Rakajaka put it best in the Black Market Mall, although I've added some flair for dramatic effect:

I have a feeling that if I did get one though it would be under Reprobate with something about pestering bogie and CloudJumper with overly specific bug fix requests and way too many boring ass videos when bogie asked for videos of power user play. 😒 Probably get a Coin Purse shot out of a rocket launcher as my keepsake lmao.

 

It's fun to think about though, isn't it? Great conversation starter!

I have a feeling I'd probably be a reprobate at this point, a lot of people have negative opinions of me lol 

 

As for the keepsake itself, it would be a black cat wearing like a spiked choker and a ripped T-shirt with a goth band name on it in like a graveyard setting

This is fun, I was just chatting with someone about this yesterday. it's hard to pick a category, altruist feels the most fitting with my few bug reports and insane desire to give things away!

 

I don't have too many fun ideas for what the item would actually be, but I look forward to reading thru everyone's replies!

Category: Reprobate is the only one that makes sense for me.

 

Type of image: There's a few things you can work with, definately a deer, possibly run over with teal liquid somewhere... a mic beside the body, maybe with an image of an angel leaving it? 

 

Flavour text: Torn's self proclaimed best torn rapper, has been dissing and generally upsetting people with his presense since late 2023. Known then as Bumbi this player came to prominence on the forums through nothing more than pure force and will. He started by injecting the forums with his colourful and slightly psychotic posts, before being able to manipulate an AI program to generate some interesting content for the masses. Otherwise you can find him crashing out in fedded archives or trying to convince everyone including himself that he's actually really important. Currently you can find this ANG3L in the background, lurking... it scares us to think what he might be plotting next. God help us all.
