Why I love torn:

War is the best part as long as we win and get paid.
(Yes, I’m looking at you, noobtraps.)
If we’re not warring, it’s just a numbers-go-up simulator.

But honestly, it’s the social side that keeps me here.
Especially when my “friends” hospitalize me for the entire Halloween event.

And then there’s gambling absolutely terrible,
while I tell everyone else don’t gamble.

I can’t help it when someone posts a big win.
I chase it and lose everything.

That is why I complain about Torn every day just like everyone else who still logs in. 
Just so we don’t have to work.

With a smudged pair of dry and chapped lips thanks to all the cold weather (maybe a little leftover pudding cup smeared over my screen), I can say what's kept my playing Torn after my first year here is the small community I've stumbled into, which is my faction, and the Leadership that's brought me to that little circle.  Despite the butthurt of wars, training the new players in Torn in how to get going as fast as possible to get that net worth ticking up, and outright getting to have some fun in all the corners of Torn, that is what keeps me coming back after 476 consecutive days to this game.  Numbers are great, but what's all that without someone to brag about it to, or keep comparing so you can have a friendly rivalry to make you think 'well... one more 99k jump will put me ahead.'

At the very least, I had to clean up and look purdy for Torn's smoochin'.

I love this place because of Duke himself. Duke is light, Duke is hope, Duke is helper, Duke is punisher. Basically Duke runs this place but he is shy to admit it. When I grow up I want to be someone like the Duke.

I'm still playing due to the people that I've met and came across in this game. I've thought about quitting quite a few times already. It's the people that keep me engaged and keep me playing. I've met some interesting people along the way. And, some very interesting characters, also. 

Keep it up TORN and I'll be sticking around for quite awhile to come.

I love torn because it is a great and very interesting community, even with all the bad things can happen it still is fun either way its a great pay to past the time by shoplifting or going to wars or trying ur luck on different types of packs, its always fun to try your luck and the best part is u never stop making moneyy so the fun never stops. Plusss the hoilday events has to be one of my favorite things that happen and makes me love it even more!!

really thanks to TORN I got something to hang on in this world, I've been feeling like an absolutely failure recently and I believer one of those thought before I do that gamer thing is I don't wanna waste my another bank deposit cycle, so cheers, Mr duke and Torn.

I still play torn because I have no life and no friends....according to some wonderful part time players ive spoken to in the past

I love torn because I've met some amazing people who have taught me a lot & have helped me through the game! The forums always make me laugh and cringe and I love that! Another thing I love is watching the numbers go up! :D Unless we're talking networth then the casino has a hold on me and likes to take everything, but then we have the joy of grinding to make it back again! Can't forget the legendary ham man himself Sugarvalves as I've won a decent amount of items from dollar sales ect 😎
