Whats it all about? Well - you need a pet - a player who will be uunder 100 days old on 10th April . You will fund them, you will make them strong and you will get to watch them trade, fly, do missions and fight to the death. What could be possibly more entertaining?
The competition will begin on Monday 10th April when the first task is given out and will last approximately a month. The owners will get any prize money. The n00bs reward is a great start to the game. Former n00bs turned into beasts thanks to this competition. Your n00b will need to be level 15 at least to take part in some rounds.
Go grab a n00b - if you can't find one, look on the street corners. Take him/her home and look after him. Think of this as a cross between Pokemon and Tamigotchi!
More will be posted soon and yes - there will be free graphics and random prizes too!!!

2nd place $300,000,000
3rd place: $200,000,000
Interested? Owners - mail me on one mail your name and ID and that of your pet. Names are then stuck till the end of the comp. Change it - you get disqualified.....sorry! By mailing me, you are applying to play this game - you are not guaranteed a spot! No changing pets/owners once applied. Fed means youre disqualified. Noobs will have to be active - very active at times.
I'm rather inactive these days so decided to do one of those crappy giveaways where last post wins.
I'm logging off again now. Next time I log in I will give the last poster here all of my stock benefits, whatever junk I have left plus everything else in my inventory minus my weapons and armour. This also doesn't include what I have in the Caymans or properties either.

Update: Ok, first winner was PattyCake [1772008] and she's helpfully posted everything I sent her on page 288. Sadly, stocks were chedded whilst I was away so didn't send out as much as I thought I would. Anyway, this starts again from when I log off...good luck everyone!

The above article was published by the player concerned and you all know me - I don't like to moan but to me this seems like a bit of self promotion and advertising for his services.
Considering the history of Torn and all the investment funds that we've seen come and go over the years and those that have ended in players being scammed or left out of pocket due to Ponzi schemes, I feel that it's in rather bad taste that a player is using his reporter position for his own benefits.
Do you think that reporters should be allowed this privilege of posting something that is pushed to the whole community and doesn't allow their competitors the same?
I will say, I have had little or no interaction with Matzokp and I'm not questioning his integrity, merely the fact that he is able to use his position to his own advantage.
UPDATE: I've requested a comment from Bogie, our Community Manager but as of yet I've not received a reply other than to say Sugarvalves has no one to answer to and his decision is final which raises the question of buying advertising space as a newspaper article and can Sugarvalves be trusted in his position now it's obvious he is willing to accept articles which are basically an infomercial.
EDIT: Bounties placed on the player concerned. Real or fake, who knows but surely it's a cause for concern? Did you place these bounties? Mail me in confidence to tell me more. If you're able to do a bounty reveal and are willing to do this for me, let me know.
And no, I'm not going to resurrect Scammerhunt even if it turns out the bounties were placed lawfully. This is merely a one off in response to the aforementioned newspaper 'article'.
Let me get this straight, you're selling boxes of crap for an extortionate amount and stating that in one box there is a DB worth 60b while your networth is just 30m? And people fall for this crap? This is quite literally the oldest scam in the book lol
I was there a few years ago. I quit the game for a couple of years then came back to enjoying it again.
Now, I log on. I train. Do crimes when I can be arsed then log off.
My current long term goal is to own 10 Private Islands to rent out plus my own and I should manage that easily this year. Then I'll concentrate on upgrading my weapons and armour followed by getting every stock block.
I'm not as into the game as I used to be but I've been here for that long now that it just seems part of normal life.
