So I love metal but I love hip hop just as much. Not just beats but lyrics. A bad@ss couple of bars can completely change how you percieve a song. It might be average or the beat might be corny or too gangsta. But if the rhymes are on point then it can become a favourite. And I'm always scanning rap songs for great verses. So if you have a favourite rhyme, bar or verse. Post (or even better quote) it here. Haters tho, this is a legit thread so just grow up and keep ya trash talk somewhere else.

great great movie. With a classic soundtrack heavily consisting of Tears for fears and revolving around their classic song 'Gentle persuasions'. I dare you to whach it only once. You can't. It's so deep that you literally think about the plot and the ending for days on end afterwards. (I love those movies that leave a lasting impression of sadness and what ifs). Much in the same vein as The Butterfly effect. Another great time travel movie. Must see's, both of them. They'll change your whole perspective.

I still remember UFC 1.
Particularly the fact there were zero rules.

As as far as Jones goes. Iv never liked him. I think he's a show pony for Dana White. And he's been given fights that were worthy of a less talented fighter. Getting done for drugs just proves that even tho he had it all. Right there in his hands. The title. One of the longest winning streaks in UFC history. He still just threw it all away for drugs.
here in New Zealand we see that kinda thing all the time.
young up and coming rugby (or league) players with huge contracts. They have their entire careers ahead of them and then they go get mixed up I drug scandals. Their.ub drops them and they end up being a nobody going "if only I'd done this or not done that.."

I've been betting on it with the bookie.
i won 8mill on the Mir vs Bigfoot fight.
Both big boys, both were coming off of losses. But I had a gut feeling about Mir.
he'd lost his 4 previous so I knew he'd be hungry. Also most fighters get their contracts revoked after 5 losses. So he sort of had to win.

Then I won about 5mill on the Rousey vs Zingano fight. (The odds were low cause she's so favoured)
on her winning and on method of victory.
Rouseys tougher than most guys lol.
And the armbar is her signature finisher.

next bets I'm placing are gonna be on Pettis, Hendrix and Overeem.
Pettis is extremely talented.
I think Hendrixs power in his hands will overcome Brown.
And Overeems just a monster but also that big country's had a few hard fights in the last couple yrs and I think his ability to take a battering isn't what it use to be.

Il be the first to admit that I'm just a noob and my opinion means less than nothing to (pretty much) everyone.
But it seems to me like you're the only one craving attention Unknown. You made your point but because ppl don't all agree with it you start with the insults (even though you're deferring from topic yourself).
Make your point then forget about it. Don't just keep posting how you're right and everyone else is wrong. Over and over again.

Torn is a game, yes. But there is something unsettling with how blahzay people around here are
with scamming and screwing others over just to make a slight gain. It's almost as if Lieing cheating and stealing are the in thing and loyalty and honour are considered as 'weak' attributes.

i think the 25 points on the wheel of awesome should also be changed to 30 points. Just so it can cover a refill (even though EVERYONE hoards points). 
It might just be my OCD/the fact that Im neurotic lmao.

But every time i see the 25 points on the wheel, the very first thing that crosses my mind is “that really needs to be adjusted”.

why is it that I am now unable to play torn on the desk top format from my mobile?..

ive always preferred the desktop format. (I just find it easier to navigate). But now for some reason my game automatically switches to mobile format as soon as I’ve logged in. And hitting the desktop icon has no effect. :(

And like I said. You don't always have every one of your enemies on that list. I mean what if you're hated and have 300 enemies?... You're not exactly going to have that big of a black list, are you? I know I wouldn't waste points on extending my list that much that's for sure.

With the newest additions to the detailed stats lists. I was thinking could we also add racing statistics to it?...

Feathery hotel coupons used.

My other thought was. Because stealthing is so widespread. And is such a huge aspect of the game. But there are actually a lot of users that don't use or 'endorse' stealthing. We could have like an "online users" list.

I realise that our enemies and friends lists already show online statuses. And that during war checking the opposing factions members list is the norm. But we don't always have all of our enemies on those lists. And we aren't always at war. So an online user list would be in place and you could be attacked by "someone". And then scan the online users list for ppl that may have a vendetta against you. I feel like this could balance out the one sidedness of stealthing. In turn, not making it useless. But atleast bringing a little more fairness to the recipients of stealthed attacks.

Rather than stealthing being fool proof.

It now goes from (and these are all just approximate percentage predictions) 100% anonymity. To say 66%. 

Thus the victim of said attack now has a 25-33% chance of guessing who the attacker was. (Given that the attacker wasn't just a random).

I honestly think that this could bring a little more (and much needed) balance to the attacking aspect of the game.

Perhaps with the pure volume of players in Torn. And the frequency of logins and outs, I'm being unrealistic. Perhaps a list like this would slow the entire game. But I just thought I'd put the suggestion out there. And then we see what the programmers and the masses think.

I'm Having a few issues that I believe are all part of the same bug..
Firstly the text on my pages is coming up in a verticle format rather than horizontally. Meaning that at times I have to scroll down quite a way.

When I go to the item market. The items don't even appear now. Just the search bar.

At first it was only certain pages with the vertical text. Which I thought, it's not worth making a post about seeing as they weren't really disrupting my game play. But it seems to be getting worse as parts of pages just don't even appear now.
I've cleared my cache and cookies. And history. But it makes no difference. :(

Im the same. Have tried multiple times to train strength (even though I'm supposed to be wrking my def ATM). Gone to the honours page. Trained again n again over half a dozen times. Logged in and out a bunch of times too. It still won't trigger.

Why do ppl always assume to "know it all" about users they've never even met before?... :/

firstly your point on being a quarter of my age is moot. See I went inactive for over a year.

Infact 99% of (the few) million I have in battle stats, have all been gained in the past 6-8 months.

Secondly. I've never owned (or even rented) a PI. (Because I wanna prove that you can still be strong even without using a PI).

Thirdly. If we actually look closer at the numbers. You've logged in 341 times more than myself.

Now at your age that suggests to me that you have a lot more opportunities to log in during the day than I do. Meaning there's always going to BE discrepancies.

and lastly. I've only just begun bringing my defense up. And by "only" I mean I've been training def up for less than a week now. Maybe 4-5 days.

So be my guest to make all the assumptions you wish to. But what is it they say about assumptions being the brother of all **** ups?..

Stealthing isn't something I aspire to and I honestly think that it's a shit stat.

A few reasons. A user with high speed will cancel out a high dexterity. Effectively making all the supplies and energy spent on training dex, a complete waste. 

Also not training dexterity frees up 25% more E and supplies for the remaining 3 stats.

I'd prefer (if speed and strength weren't my primary battle stats) to have huge def and take very little damage. Than to be high dex and evasive. If the opponents speed is high, evasiveness then becomes redundant.

Everyone has their own style of play. Mine just happens to favour neglecting/negating dexterity. :)



and Rion. I think you're missing the entire point of this post with irrelevant, minute details.

20.3mill or 29.3mill str. It's still way more than the 10mill needed to aquire this honour.

I just trained it once. Went to the honours page that it's on (gym). Then trained str again. Visited the page again. And repeated a third time with no result.

Well I used 150E. Gained over 100k str. But no honour.

Logged out and back in. Still Doesn't seem to be cooperating.  

Guess I'll give it 24hrs at which point I'll make a bug thread.

I just noticed there's a new honour for strength. Powerhouse, 10mill strength.

if my strength is already well over 20mill. Why have i not received the powerhouse honour?...

Does it mean I need an additional 10mill from the time the honour was created?...
