I notice it a lot with the chat window--every time a change to a different Torn page, the chat window grinds and grinds before it properly shows up. This is on my desktop computer.
Ya, but none of the tabs show the information I'm interested in. I'd like to know the total amount of respect on certain days and the total funds balance on certain days, not the additions and withdrawals. It's mostly for curiosity, just knowing the history of the faction.
Thanks for the replies. I have been in my current faction for several years. One faction leader went inactive. The co-leader became leader and some time later made me his co-leader. Then that leader went inactive and I woke up one day and was leader of a faction. I can see logs about leadership from when I was made co-leader, but nothing before that. I know there was at least one leader before the one who admitted me. I can see from some of the upgrades unlocked (those that have a challenge in addition to a respect requirement) and I see that some long-time Torn players were at one time members of the faction. But I'd like to see how much respect we have had over time, and the amount on specific dates over certain years, or when certain upgrades were made, or what the faction balance was on different dates--just like our own individual historical logs. I'm interested in dates before I became leader and since then. To see exactly how much we've grown, etc.
I'm not concerned about how much the leader withdrew, there were decent funds in the vault and he donated quite a bit of weapons and armor. He just stopped logging in at some point.
Thanks again. It looks like I need to make a suggestion in the appropriate forum.
Is there a way to view historical logs of a faction I inherited? For example, if I want to see when the faction was created, who the leaders have been, what the respect was on a certain date, when certain faction upgrades or unlocks were done, is that possible? As far as I can tell, I can only see changes in leadership that occurred after I became a member. But I'd like to view the general history. If not, I might add that as a suggestion (a low priority one, but still).
Set your clock timer on your phone or watch for a minute or two before your landing time. Turn the ringer on. Then read a book, do a puzzle, talk to friends or family, pay your bills, clean your closet, wash the dishes, play in the garden, whatever your heart desires. when your alarm rings, pay attention to Torn again. :-)
We have what you describe--a small, no-war faction that focuses on OCs and an occasional chain. As long as members log in, train and do crimes, join OCs, and kinda go with that program, that's great. Members can join a chain if they want. We pay 100% of each member's part in a crime. if 3 players, 100% of the reward is split 3 ways.
This is true. We have a small, no-war faction and have several members who never talk in chat or interact socially. But as long as they log in, train and do crimes, join OCs and kinda go with that program, nobody hassles them.
