I followed him down the winding path in the cave, the floors all wet and slippery, the damp stench of something I just couldn't place
Turning the corner, I saw him standing at a rock face, muttering some words I just could not make out over the noise of the whirling wind following me down the way.
I looked to my left, then to my right, noticing piles of bones arranged in a way that made me feel very uneasy.
I had to know what was happening to the people that had dissapeared from my village, to my friends, people I grew up with.
I had heard his name mentioned by some people that he could be behind this, when I suddenly sneezed from the dust of the bones that filled the air.
Then he turned around and all I could think was why had I followed my father down here?
I often wonder about my spouse in game. We played another game together, before Torn, and she was always highly active in online games. Her activity slowed, then 1 day, nothing. 3 years it's been now. Out of charachter even to have not told me she was quitting.
Bah!! Absolute horseshit. According to that page, the chance of opening Xanax and Vicodin is equal. I call bullshit. I'v many a time opened 4/5 Vic in a row, NEVER opened 4/5 Xanax in a row. How are we supposed to believe ANYTHING on there if we all know this one is crap?????
The part of the year everyone looks forward to, until it starts.
Over the years, it has basically been the same process.
You join a team, pick a leader and cross your fingers that you manage to elect the biggest snake in the game.
Why not take away all that snakiness and back stabbing, by having a different style layout to the whole competition.....?
Bear with me...
16 teams are available
You opt-in and are randomly assigned a team (like it is now)
Once the rostas are full, and the games begin, every team is randomly assigned a different team to fight.
The battle continues, tickets won/loss, for 2 or 3 days.
Once these few days are up, the 8 winning teams progress to the next stage.
Each of these teams are again assigned (randomly) one of the other winners to fight, and it goes again for 2 or 3 days.
Then we are down to 4 teams, then eventually 2 teams are left to battle in the "final"
We know how much the game loves drama, but for 1000+ people to luck out of a win, merits etc, not due to hard work, but because you end up with a retard for a leader, is unfair all round.
Take away all that back stabbing, snake like behaviour and just let everyone have at it, with the winners being those that are:
Strongest
Most active
Well organised
All of the attributes you'd expect from a team that actually deserves to win.
Or just keep it as it is and have to listen to everyone bitch and watch the players in teams drop from 1200 to 300 within a week.

If you have "extremely powerful members" in your RW faction that aren't contributing, maybe removing them may be your best bet. Hardly a point in them being there, if they are of no help....
