There are many items listed on the Item Market that have been there for a long time.
Many are overpriced and listed by inactive players.
My suggestion is these items be returned to the lister after 365 days.
This will remove those items that are never going to be sold.
It will help tidy up the item market.

Here is one example of many below that will stay "forever" unless there is some mechanism put in place to remove it.

Edit: Updating a solution. 

If a player has a city job and is inactive for 400 days,

they get removed from the job.

Why can't this be the case also for their bazaars, if they have one?

Level is not a great indicator for battle stats.

Activity and age is more telling than level. 

Ideally you are maximising your training gains 

with the amount of time you are playing.

There are also level holders. 

A L15 has the capacity to beat  L100s.

Concentrate on your own play style and try not 

to compare yourself to others as there will

be stronger players as well as weaker players around you.

The only dividend paying stock block you could own with your current net worth

is Torn City Times valued at around $33.2 million. This matures in 31 days.

I am thinking that you do not own the required number of shares to activate a stock block bonus.

Each block has a varying required number of shares purchased before the bonus is activated.

If you click on the different stocks in the dividend column, it will give you information of the number of shares required for the bonus and the value of it.

I heard that OP nearly stalemated with BodyBagger

if you are serious about training and gaining stats

(ie happy jumps) I suggest you get to level 15, rent a PI

and get donator status.

Donator status gives you a base energy of 150 instead of 100.

This will help your stat increase with your happy jumps

and enable you to get to rehab. 

Here is a link to Vladar's Guide about training. It has a 

simulator so you can see how the different levels of happy

affect your stats gains.

The piggy bank is a once only item.

If you smash it, it  cannot be replaced.

I have played countless games and watched the evolution

of gaming since the release of space invaders.

The big difference I note from early games is that

perma-death was common. You had to grind and learn the games

and die a lot only to have to restart the game from the beginning.

Most modern games, you can save, or if you die, you go back to 

the start of that stage.

The consequence of death or failure does not carry  the weight it used to.

A lot of the earlier games also took a lot longer to complete. 

Many of the Nintendo 64 games were 40+ hours to finish.

Even games on the Commodore 64 were challenging and took many hours. 

A lot of the new games can be completed in a day. 

Not sure if it attention spans changing, or amount of free gaming time 

people have. Games definitely look so much better and sound better, along with

online and co-op options. Maybe gaming flavours have changed from individual 

challenges to a more interactive and competitive environment.

I am guessing it is a rounding occurrence. 

Maybe due to some perk or that your alcohol gives slightly more than 1 nerve

you are getting a rounded up point of nerve every so often.
