Unfortunately though, if they say who made the mistake, the staff member is basically being left out to hang, and that isn't right either if they are still staff. All we can do is try to trust that there are going to be precautions to ensure this specific mistake will not happen again or at least not be likely. The CM answers to Ched and his position is demands that he please as many people as practical while enforcing the rules within his considerable ability. If something like this happens all the time, yes it indicates issues but does it happen all the time?

Yeah. I was just playing around with Vladar's spreadsheet a few days ago and noticed I'd get more stats if I did that. I did it after I was thinking about trying to earn more money to do more happy jumps but I'm not sure how hard core I am going to play.

What exactly have I done to deserve this sort of response?

Either way getting to 500 is impressive. I'm sad that my top kill streak is only 105... But I need to train up band get stronger... So I'm only missing out on the 500.

All the solid options have been said. With the budget I have, I use a dbk. I just feel the damage for the macca is lower than I like, but like all the others I'd say stats make the biggest difference. Everything considered for the top side (all buffs): Accuracy is worth more than power because it's capable of basically doubling your speed... Everything that's been suggested is capable of doing that, so they are all excellent choices.

Active new player. Looking a job that would be able to provide me with regular training as my job stats are really low. I would prefer a pub or an adult novelty, but beggars can't be choosers :).

I wasn't going to pass judgement either way, as it is unwise to take advice from perfect stranger on something that could be carefully considered based on your number of forum posts. From what I see staff have a lot of crap to put up with, and they surely would take it out on the rule breakers. I do worry about false positives, but surely Bogie has figured out something to make the times staff do screw up not as bad for the players who were wronged in whatever situation.

*shrug* some of the issue there could be that the flaming and name calling is not all one sided. What would you have the Cm do? Ban both/ all parties that flame and name call? Have fewer free staff? I mean there has to be some sort of a line. I know having fewer free staff means less money for developers and servers, or perhaps fewer cheaters being caught, more rules being broken. What would you prefer? A system that has someone who is actively trying to keep things balanced (which would be really hard), or the extreme that all staff / moderators are paid so they don't screw up 'as often' with big updates coming in even slower. I cant really be the judge of that. I imagine that if you complained about specific matters to the Cm with evidence he would get to it eventually.

Surely he's keeping track of the number of mistakes staff make. I mean it is his job, and if he believes they do more good than harm who the hell are we to argue when he sees the full picture?

Chin up. Not all relationships last. Hopefully someday soon you'll find someone who accepts you for who you are, and they won't be inconsiderate.

Train your stats. Gear doesn't help much if you are a weakling. That's why I haven't bothered to get anything special for my equipment :). Join up with a faction and play often. They will help you if you aren't lazy. :)

Sooner or later things will get better, just stay strong and stay true to yourself.

Buying trains I want at least 1 a day, depending on price per train up to 10 a day. Mail me company specials as well so I can consider my options. I'm looking to get all my work stats to over 10k for all city job specials.
