The basics of how to plan faction OC · · 16 likes

The basics of oc is start from the top and work down, everyone is listed when you try and pick participants for a oc. So every so often I need to cancel all oc and rerank people as these ranks do change more regularly than you might imagine. Record this listing in some format such as a faction forum post so you can reference/track and plan for future oc.

Top of the list is top ce and all ranked descending.
So basically I have a rough snapshot in my head from what I've already experimented with as to each person's individual ce and relative strength in a oc, when I first started organising I had to experiment a lot to get a decent success rate (PA can and will fail regularly - due to sharing the ce between the groups you want an overall average of 60% success or better) but it's just time.

If you are starting a group from scratch you just pick top 4 players and give it a shot- you would want those people to have at minimum 80k TEA total (theoretical effective arsons-this number only begins at 60nnb so getting newly 60nnb people to take a screenshot of their busts and crimes at the point they turn is a great way to track their progress to around 20k TEA to become close to PA… again it's not just their TEA cause you need a team so you will always choose whoever is ranked highest in faction to make the most number of teams that will succeed. The suggested team is around 160k TEA total so a lead would generally be at least 50k TEA if you are trying to recruit for PA lead and can't just check their faction rank.

Once I have an idea of who can succeed in what crimes I count the total of people that can possibly be in a pa team then compare that to how many can possibly lead a pa( this is massively dynamic as the overall ce Is more important than 1 individual player's ce-unless that one person has 180k+ TEA by themselves haha)
Eg I see 25 possible pa members but only 3 leads would mean that I would make 3 teams and use only top 12 people and then maybe make a yolo of positions 13-16
If I saw 5 leads and only 15 members I'd probably go for 4 teams and try and use the excess ce from the 5th lead to average out all the teams to carry 1 weak person
Then I also try and factor if someone is a regular off-line( if they are offline for the 24 hrs prior to you trying to plan a crime you can't see them in the selection window)player because then I can't just replan a oc and that makes entire team wait- I try and siphon them to weaker oc to avoid annoying a lot of people.

The basic premise of a pa sharing of ce is to divide everyone into 1st 2nd 3rd 4ths. Then for example with 3 teams the spread would be 1 6 7 12, 2 5 8 11, 3 4 9 10
If it was 1 team it's simply 1 2 3 4
2 teams is 1 4 5 8 ,2 3 6 7
4 teams is 1 8 9 16, 2 7 10 15, 3 6 11 14, 4 5 12 13
You may see a pattern emerging….. Grab the top and bottom and then the two middle people ,after you plan it you can repeat the exact same method for next group as the first 4 disappear from the list of people you can plan with.
You need to get a little creative when you factor in people with the +20% ce buff from 7 star law firm perk- because its a % of only that 1 team member they can be higher ce than their ce ranking suggests- usually my faction has 3-4 of these players and I try and get 1 in each pa group so one group isn't stacked with them all.
That way all teams have a fairly equal strength and then you can see from the average success rate if you increase number of teams or need to decrease(again 60% success rate is around the sweet spot imo).

After you work out how many pa teams , you work down to hijacks and see again how many appropriate members there are for it, again need to have a lot of relative information of ce and log patterns to make a mix of higher ce and lower ce to make a successful few groups( hijacks make a faction a lot of cash so don’t think 'they aren't a PA so they do not matter'. Mostly hijacks will require a similar system of evenly distributing the 8 member's ce so you can maximise how many successful groups you can make. I'd suggest lowest is 55nnb and you want some people up to20k tea as hijack leader and then maybe 5 60nnb total and 3 55nnb- again it is highly dynamic and depends on what your faction has as far as members. Hijacks should have around 80% success.

The oc past hijack are pretty mundane as cruise liner Is kinda a joke oc as 15 people are guaranteed to have someone in jail, hosp, travelling or not logging in so I skip and go to train robbery (6 people between 40 and 55nnb). At that point it's pretty much easy to just throw some appropriate people in and then try and mix leftovers between planned (5 members around average of 40 nnb) and bomb threat(3 members 25-35 nnb) and then just use the kidnap or blackmail so everyone is in a oc.

please post any questions/extra tips and I will try and respond and improve what is already here.

Questions regarding new medical revamp. · · 3 likes

So I've already posed these questions directly to sugarvalves in the hopes he responds in his next edition but ill also share with you all.

Firstly , during events such as eliminations a faction or in indeed all factions could set fake walls and virtually have unlimited med cd. How can this be countered?

Secondly( and i have been affected by this), some opportunists drop a db on a faction attacking another to create some tension and also to help the attackers fail. Since they now will be considered a 3rd party, will that faction just be able to med out from db for 0 med cd? Basically turning a db into a giant firecracker

I don't even understand what is going on? If any the logs shown are real, and I doubt it, they suggest Alexis was winning at Russian roulette. At what point would you continue to lend money to someone to Russian roulette????? And if truly believed there was a cheat to always win, why did he lend her money to cheat instead of reporting it? I don't see how any fault can be of Alexis as ll nub truly shot himself in the foot here

Not really a fan of the gender only strip club employee thing. Seems to make things more sexist and exclusive instead of less.
