As with any warring faction, you are expected to use personal Xanax for daily training and use faction Xanax solely for stacking, so if your goal is stats growth you aren't going to have a pleasant experience.
Searching for:
Established players with stats at least in the millions (100M preferred but being a choosing begger isn't cool)
Mature enough to realize it is just a silly browser game we enjoy
Willing to accept that sometimes you're simply gonna make fuck all in a war based on the matchup. Not every war is a dump truck of cash delivered to your door.

I'm sure there's bunches of threads that say the same thing but it's my turn now I suppose. For a game about murder, excessive drug usage, and overall being terrible people; a lot of y'all are actually really nice people. In most of the wars, people realize it's nothing personal and we end up chatting with them most of the time, even when we're getting our asses handed to us. Like any game there's always going to be people taking things far too seriously, especially for some little browser game. Even though the original people that had me try the game are gone, I'm glad I stayed. A good faction/family makes a good experience and good sports make even getting destroyed more tolerable. There's always going to be bigger fish but trouble don't follow you unless you go looking for it.
I know I'm small and don't say anything outside of my faction and can't compete with the stories of the fallen with people helping them find a house or taking care of their kids. I just hope that even in my small circle, I make Torn even a little bit better for someone.
After reading thread after thread about getting scammed, buy mugging, why XYZ is bad. Some of us just want to use the weekend to indulge and not deal with work for a couple days. What is everyone's favorite munchies snack?

Torn has a problem with a surplus of HOF factions but it is beyond the scope of wars. It's almost like we need a prestige version of the map with higher racket bonuses just so factions without trillions of stats could have any hope of claiming one. As much as they'd like to deny it, the entire game is controlled by a dozen or so factions and doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon.
I believe they made some sort of statement that 85% of wars should be winnable ™ by either side but I've also not seen that manifest into reality. Whether it's getting matched up against a faction with a 1T stats member or conversely where the highest stats are 400M. As much as a enjoy the chill vibes of termed wars because of the disparity, it lacks needing to plan out blood bags or chain rushes.
Happy be happy with yourself month. It seems like a pretty basic thing but there's a lot of stigma around it in places. You must also remember that just because you feel something does not mean that everyone feels the same way. So go kiss a boy, go kiss a girl, go kiss someone in between, go kiss none of the above.
As with most things, it should not be your entire personality. It's an orientation/identity. Just because you fall into one of the letters doesn't give you a free pass to be an asshole to those that may disagree.
I think of it this way. The more people that use it without paying, the quicker they continue to bleed money and we can all move on. I, however, spend a borderline unhealthy amount of time in VR, so there's very few things I can't just create myself between Unity and substance painter.
Little bit outside of Detroit. One of the nicer suburbs but could still walk to Detroit proper from my house if I wanted to. Still predominately white but mixed enough that being racist is more likely to get you ended than make friends. I can speak with enough of an urban accent to get me into trouble but also speak in soccer mom. Michigan has garbage weather for a quarter of the year and the possibility of snow for an approximately 6 month window even this far south. We have cheap weed, crappy roads, and perpetual construction. 4/10 unless it's summer, don't bother.

Do 20 people "run" everything? That's probably not accurate. Saying that there's 20 factions that do is probably the more accurate description. Short of making a dedicated kiddie pool map with lower grade faction perks, nothing is going to change. Just like real life there's always going to be a bigger fish. Just find a chill faction, get used to being punched in the face while small, train, and just relax. Trying to get too invested in the game is a sure way to just have a bad time. None of the "controlling" players as you describe give a damn what the price of travel items is, they could sneeze out a billion dollars and not miss it.
So if I'm following, their upset because someone, allegedly, was an asshole in a game about being an asshole. As someone whose been in factions that got their faces punched in by SHAT, I can say that I don't super like them but that's based on them being big and I can't touch them. If they were on my side I'd very likely enjoy the company. My dude, we're the Walmart of GTA clones, if you take things that serious it's on you.
Why? I'm sure they could but what's the benefit? You'd need to train it on Torn, since the real world generally things murder and such is wrong. If you're that hard up to have a conversation with a Torn NPC, make one on character AI or whatever. I've personally seen enough of that weird long dash character from AIs for the rest of my life.
We do wars and stuff, bully Sully and Canuck. The usual Torn business. Super laid back. Primarily a RW based faction. Gym perks, supplied Xanax for wars. The standard fare. Looking for mid-tier and up battle stats preferably but aren't going to be choosing beggars if you're active. Cheers.
If you like it, that's cool. I'm pretty content without any tattoos or piercings, just hair color. Coloring an avatar in substance painter is all the body modification I'm likely to do.
That's awesome man. Torn is full of the worst kinds of people but then you find the ones where it's just a game and you can build actual friendships. Hopefully everything works out for you.
That's highly not cool. It's just a way to turn people away from factions forever. My current faction isn't even 1M respect and we pay for OCs, etc. Sounds like you're in the Torn version of an HOA. I would advise you to look elsewhere. I won't offer up my biased opinions on where but I wish you luck.
Awww, it's babies first long grind game. Sorry you can't just buy the battle pass and get to level 80 immediately like world of Warcraft. We got folks here riding 10 year old accounts and you're gonna walk up acting like you know anything about anything. You probably should just quit now because you will have bounties until the heat death of the universe and be on everyone's target list.
