Certainly there's some other 7d2d players around here. I had a server running with a couple friends up until a year ago, haven't played much lately outside of single player here and there. Wondering if anyone knows any good mostly-vanilla community servers, or maybe even a good RP server...?
Or maybe someone out there wants to start a 2- or 3-person little co-op world together?
This is the wrong forum, that's fine... Report it, or not, mods will find it one way or another...
Ya know, I came back to this game after many years. My old knowledge and skills were obvious to some, I was called out as being a restart. Which was kind of true, but not entirely.
I made a new account, after all these years, to start from scratch, start new. Really. Obviously I have the background and experience in my head, but, this was going to be a fresh start.
Went well for a while, damn shit was going good. Hit level 15 and started flying... I mean I had this shit. I was FINALLY playin gthis game again and trying to do it legit.
But then I oopsed.

I wanted to make a fresh start, play this game again... And that's what I did. An unofficial reset.
Damn bro, it's just a game... But f**k. The old me went through so much shit here, I caused it all of course, f**k me. I just wanted to play the game again. Made it 19 days without feeling guilty about it.
I gave what I had back to everyone who gave it to me, this should be a pretty worthless account at this point.
So, looking at weapons... I see there's "damage" and "accuracy" which makes sense, but how does the "quality" come in to effect? Is it an overall buff/nerf? Does the quality go down with time? When looking to buy a new weapon, should one favor higher damage or higher quality?
Torn puts so much interest in multiple accounts... I remember when shit hit the fan 10 years ago... (remember I'm actually older than anyone who's posted here so far) lol...
It's hard, really hard, to put protocols in place for a browser based game like this. I give them credit for trying (and lying to scare the people who don't understand) but... Damn I love(d) this game.

In my first apartment I never closed the door because I was nervous or whatnot so I wanted to be able to hear things.
Then in a house with roommates I closed my door obviously.
Now I just moved a few weeks ago and - I don't know - it felt weird having the door open so I closed it by habit, but then I was like wait, I don't "need" to close this. Then I got curious lol
I switched off LastPass in December when the leak got more prevalent - I wasn't as concerned when it was first mentioned because they didn't make it sound as bad and I had all the 'best practices' in place for my account security. But, if they got vaults, there's nothing to stop a bad actor from brute forcing it - even with a strong password, though, this is not ideal.
Switched to a different provider and reset about 90% of my 150+ passwords I had in there (that was a whole weekend project lol)

I didn't get a screenshot of this and I don't think there's any way for me to go back...
When I first made my account, the very VERY first thing the game does is walk you through the side bar... This is your name, this is your energy, this is your nerve, etc, and it kind of highlighted/outlined the things.
Well, my name is long enough that it word-wrapped my name so my name appeared under where it says "Name:" - not next to it. As a result, all those highlight boxes pointing out the items in the sidebar were not lined up with the line it was meant to highlight.

A man goes to confession and tells the priest "forgive me father, for I have sinned."
"What happened?" asked the priest.
"Well," the guy starts, "I was at the convenience store quite late, just before closing, and just as I was about to leave it started downpouring. The clerk and I waited out the storm in the store and, well one thing led to another, and we made love."
"Don't worry," said the priest, "That's not good, but it could be much worse. Say five Hail Mary's and all will be forgiven."
"Well father," the man continues, "a few days later I was at the gym right up until close. As I was about to leave it started to downpour again. Another man and myself waited out the storm in the gym and, well one thing led to another, and we made love."
"It's okay my son," said the priest, "That is worse, but there are far more evil things you could have done. Say twenty Hail Mary's and all will be forgiven."
"Okay father, but there's more," the man continues - but the priest interrupts him by saying "Not now, my son." "well, what's wrong father, why can't I share my final sin?" the man asks.
The priest replies "I need you to leave before it starts to rain!"
