Hey everyone,

First thread so here goes... 

Inspired by the incredible true story of Kyle MacDonald — the guy who traded a red paperclip all the way up to a house — I’ve decided to start a little journey of my own. I’m calling it “One Beer to a PI” — and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like! 😄

I'll be starting with just one simple item: a bottle of beer. From there, I’ll trade my way up, step-by-step, with the final goal of reaching a Private Island. How long will it take? How many trades will it be? I honestly don’t know — but that’s the fun of it!

💬 This is not about making money, and I don’t expect anything from anyone. Please don’t feel pressured to trade unless it’s something you genuinely want to do and think is fun. The aim is for this to become a lighthearted, memorable little part of Torn City — maybe even a community meme — and along the way, I hope to meet more people and make my gameplay a bit more social and meaningful.

Each trade will be documented, with the name of the kind trader and the date/time, so everyone gets a little credit for being part of the story.

As someone new to the game, this is a way for me to connect with others, learn more about the community, and remind myself (and maybe a few others) that even when you’re starting small, big things are possible if you stick with it. ❤️

this is devastating news specially for an up and coming faction who puts a lot of work like every other hard working factions out there. The time, energy, resources spent to build an armoury and all the things related to the faction may be broken down but im sure you will be able to recoup the losses.

Theres a huge family outside of the faction who might be able to help you out. I know the feeling of losing and the struggle specially as a new player (not really that new but compared to a lot of people here slightly new). To anyone who plans to rob/swindle a faction cash/armoury or trust, please actually think about the hard work that’s been put through. Is it really worth it. what “fun” can you seek after being called out and breaking yourself from the torn community…

For real. the truth is this game is being played a lot of people who have spent so many years here… it’s technically their life. Kudos to these people actually being successful in game and probably in rl too.
