08:07:26 - 07/02/25 You upgraded your level to 65 (I had the option to level up more on this date, so technically started here)
I have had people reach out and tell me I should keep going to level 77, etc. Sorry to disappoint but I won't be doing that, as I have regrets level holding for so long already and only stuck it out because I told myself I would. Very excited for the extra life/merits!

This thread is only open for short periods of time - 15 mins to 1.5 hrs at MOST. Make hits IMMEDIATELY when you see the thread is open. If you come back in an hour or so, the thread will likely be closed. Few reasons for this:
While the thread is open, I'm actively watching for hits and can pay you asap! This will not be the case while the thread is closed.
I don't have an unlimited budget so if you hit me while the thread is closed, I won't necessarily have the money to pay you.
I'm not necessarily ready for you to attack me if the thread is closed, even if I'm online and in Torn. (Also being online and in Torn doesn't mean I can pay you immediately either while the thread is closed... I'm either busy with other things or very sleepy.)

Tbh the only person I talked to mid-war was Killerworm, who seemed annoyed that we were keeping him up past his bedtime, we had a friendly chat tho. Sorry if that was a misinterpretation, it's been so long I don't remember what was said precisely.
We did ask for terms late in the war - it wasn't my preference but one of our Captains at the time was more accustomed to doing mid-war terms and pointed out that we'd both gain more caches if were able to get something close to participation score, as well as ending the war a few hours earlier. You said no, not without us sending you an additional cut, which we didn't agree to so we just ended the war normally. All good with us either way.
Both of our factions have grown over the past several months so a rematch would be interesting! And like I said, based on our last war, I don't think the new stats-based criteria would prevent us from being matched. We're enlisting this Tuesday, so who knows. :)
It's weird that you're bragging about a war that you didn't fight - for context, when we fought Mana our top end was one 2.5b player and four 1b players. Everyone else on our roster was much smaller back in January.
Your faction leaders back then thought it was suicidal we wouldn't term and were annoyed we made them stay up around the clock to fight the war out. But hey, we've beaten rosters with much higher stats before, or at least given them a good run - you never know what happens until you fight.
It's not like we're getting cakewalk matchups with the new system either - we've been putting a lot of time and resources into winning our wars. Our last war we were heavily outstatted, so I don't think a rematch with Mana is out of the question. We'd be excited to fight it out if we do, as we've grown a whole lot since the last time. :)
