Made from pallet wood and plywood. Dark Walnut stain. took about 3 weeks after work and on the weekends. a test build to determine if I should pursue making some for some side cash.
As I attempted to explain to these people, Kata will only be kicked because of Kata, not because some people want to play social media discord drama name shame bounty barrage super revenge simulator. im not 12, I don't care about whatever personal life drama they are attempting to drag into torn.
also if you are going to attempt to bring people's rl spouses into Torn as a reason to be judgmental, you should probably take a long look at yourself first. just saying.
As I told Hilde, I almost quit torn a while ago. if not for the excitement that the young players bring into my faction with their desire to grow and learn I would simply quit playing. too many games out there for me to stay in a game that isn't fun.
If Hilde manages to make Torn no fun for these players and they choose to leave or if the game becomes not fun for me, I will give Kata this damn faction, all of its contents, all the cash I have just to ensure she always has a home and a place for those who wish to be at her side just to spite the childish antics of a few who think they have the right to cast judgment over others.
Im not Vulpes. I don't care about Torn enough for you to hurt me. Im not invested enough, I promise. Don't believe me? I suggest you ask around. There is a reason my NW has taken a nose dive since I bought this faction. I simply don't care.
EDIT: I have asked Kata since she has been here to not antagonize WiB. If WiB wants to be left alone, then leave her alone. period. Kata and a friend apparently took a shot at her in global. I wasn't happy. I dealt with it. If it continues then Kata's actions will be evaluated at that time.
However since WiB seems to want attention now, im taking that restriction off of Kata until such time this can be resolved.
like doing more to stop what happened to the Lt? that kind of abuse happens far more often and affects a lot more people. its getting away with that kind of nonsense that leads to situations where people die. its that confidence that there will be no accountability for those kinds of actions that embolden them to get worse.
Chauvin being convicted of what amounts to negligent homicide is very appropriate and feels a lot more like justice than is often presented. however now that the grandstanding is over lets see how that really carries on, what actually changes. im willing to bet not much.
personally if i felt my family member was murdered by the police, this verdict would upset me even though from a legal standpoint thats all they could really do. he got a "he didnt mean it" conviction. while the Minnesota statue includes the word murder its hard to ignore the unintentional qualifier.
"oh noes, my life sucks. fml. woah is me. whaaaa!!!"
when they should be taking that shit job and using it as a stepping stone. a negotiation platform. "i have a job that pays x, if you want my services then it will cost you y" but the vast majority dont EVER do that. they make excuses about how their job isnt that bad the pay just sucks (because they are f**king lazy) etc.
employed or not everyone should be on Indeed or any other job search site looking for a new job at least once a year. first it will help you negotiate with your current employer by knowing what your open market value is and also it keeps you available for that "great job" at all times.
people suck, people make excuses, and people expect someone else to fix it for them.
see Sweeney's post? thats how most of america sees it. so while you are focused on it being a black man, most of america sees a criminal, skin tone is irrelevant no matter how much you want to believe otherwise.
there will always be morons who choose sides, we see it here everyday ffs. so it doesnt shock me that the Lt. was subjected to idiotic slander, though i havent seen it. it was by and large universally seen for what it is.
its that type of arrogance, assault even in that case, that the whole nation can get behind stopping. not this pandering of parading criminals around like victims and martyrs. huge difference.
american soldier assaulted on camera and then attempted extortion to get him to drop it. thats very bad, intolerable for the vast majority.
criminal with a felony warrant dies for failing to comply to officers commands. that sucks, but most people see a criminal not a victim. right or wrong thats how it is. even if they feel justice should be served against the officer, the former doesnt change.
those who run shit know this. its pretty obvious to anyone with eyes really. but whatever. people are going to do what they do. nothing will change and more will die.
im hoping you are smarter than that. oversimplification by a huge degree.
if you were a cop, pulled over someone with a warrant for illegal possession and carrying an illegal firearm, would you be feeling like its just another day? especially during a time when cops are the targets of political and community attacks? stop.
my guess is she was already super nervous she might not go home at the end of the day considering the circumstances. thats reasonable all things considered. that nervousness obviously caused her to make a huge mistake. a mistake she should be held accountable for.
that said, lets not pretend this person only resisted arrest with no context or that the resistance wasnt a contributing factor to their demise.
why is there a thread on this guy but not the serviceman who was clearly a victim of police harassment and overstepping? because this guy, that had an illegal gun charge!?, was shot by a cop during a felony stop? seriously? this is the hill we choose to fight on?
while this is tragic and an excellent example of police incompetence, its not going to prove fruitful in terms of finding a middle ground.
that serviceman however could easily be a unifying force against the police, and not just for the black community, while still being able to hold up a black man as an example of perceived unfair treatment. id be surprised if anyone in America hasnt experience this kind of behavior from the police in some fashion. i myself have experienced it more than once including drawn weapons in one instance. this we can all relate to. ive seen this type of arrogance in simple traffic stops. unfortunately for the officer in that instance, the driver was a 40year lawyer...lol.
assuming, like so many others do, what "they mean" or "how they feel" is a cop out to ignore what they are saying. quite frankly thats what is absurd.
fact is, you are far more likely to live through an encounter, not be assaulted during an encounter, if you comply. flat out. no one is suggesting that bad cops dont happen. just that you are far more likely to live and seek justice later if you do in fact comply.
you know what doesnt make sense? saying you are afraid and then escalating the situation by not complying increasing the chances of exactly what you are afraid of. that makes no sense. how many of these incidents actually result in them getting away without harm in comparison?
next time i get asked for ID for booze, cash a check, when i go into a government building and request service, file for a gun, im shouting "racist!! thats racist!! how dare you!!"
seriously. i cant wait. im going to mock this shit till hell freezes over
try to talk like you? LMAO!! dont flatter yourself. i hold myself to a higher standard than that.
you really have to create these fantasies dont you? punch my phone? lol. some of us can have more than a phone for posting to begin with. second, you arent worth feeling any kind of way. i pity you. ive told you this before. i feel no more for you than a 15yr old kid talking big with his friends about last weekends conquests. i simply shake my head and think, "grow the f**k up". thats real, thats FACT.
ive never struggled, bruh (lol), ever. regardless of what lies you have to tell yourself to feel relevant.
whenever you are man enough to be more than mouth, the rest of us will recognize it. until then, keep sipping coffee and pretending anyone gives two shits about a you. if you honestly thought people did, you wouldnt try so hard.
not sure if this is even real, but these kind of situations are only bad of the GOP does it (when it reality the government just operates this way no matter who is in charge). otherwise this isnt bad, its helping.
its not the democrats fault they made a decision to change policies even though they knew the system in place to handle it was dismantled, by their own admission btw.
if they dont do anything they are supporting racists and racist activities.
if they do and business suffers they are racists and doing racist activities for hurting them.
its literally a no win situation at this point.
this is what happens when logic leaves the building. people react, they dont think. as long as the side they want to root for says what they like they will fall in line despite any claims to do the opposite.
This isnt even about black or white. rich or poor. its about 2 political parties attempting to gain an advantage during elections regardless of who the voting base is or what they want. thats the truth. a truth none of the jackasses in this thread are addressing.
there is clearly a middle ground to avoid fraud and still allow wider voting access. neither side are interested in that, for a reason.
