Stock manipulation by Ched and the crew. There has been a big reduction of money avenues and stocks have been hit hard, over the last 24 months the amount of times I have been stuck because of stocks tanking from background manipulation is just insane. Ched and crew will never admit to it and just say oh its business as usual

Definitely appreciate you are just a messenger, I am just frustrated as the rest of the community :) when things fall in the may not work category in projects it sucks as I know from personal experience (yes I am a portfolio director).

I am surprised last years' event had more traffic than this year though given the increase in new joiners. I don't know shit about coding though (I am business process not IT) so I am sure the devs know what they are doing and will iron things out very soon, I definitely understand the firefighting from irl experience xD.

I understand situations may be unique but you haven't really answered the question. Good project managers will look at past failings, see what went wrong, how it can be mitigated and implement possible controls (which may or may not work) to prevent said things from occurring again.

 My question was whether the team has looked at previous years and how things have gone wrong, applied learnings to improve and implement stronger controls based on available technology. From the outside it doesn't look like lessons learnt have been learnt, because we experience the same issues every year. The event itself doesn't change much (I am probably ignorant in this aspect as I don't know the coding etc.) other than some additional content and a lot of new users which translates to higher server load.

I will also say I do appreciate the devs dedication in getting it sorted as I know it's not easy to have a rush situation dumped and finding a solution ASAP to get things moving, hats off to the devs.

Do the developers look at prior year issues and if they will repeat? The lag at the start of Halloween seems to be a repeat event over the last 4+ years, from a player point of view it's frustrating and from developer point of view it would be too, are they applying lessons learnt from previous years?
