Recent events in real life have got me questioning as to why I have bothered spending so much time, money and effort onto a text based game that actually does nothing for me any more. The game play is stagnant, updates are few and far between. Though in all fairness, my interest has dwindled since dropping my dirty bomb.

Honestly, my main concern and what I've come to realise is how many endless hours I've spent playing poker, arguing in global, just being a general bellend. I've made some great friends over the years on torn, (shoutout to stretch, georgecostanza, dark, wayne, clansy, hydro, nic, deft, tiller, paddyboy) also made some enemies (shoutout to Ali, dicklauren, pimptresswhale, dickpulse)

Thanks to NOVA, JFA & IBB for accommodating me over the last few years. Shout out to MightyGoober for keeping my spot on hold, should I return!

Every hour I've spent on this could've been spent with relatives no longer with me, out with friends, or just doing something productive. Loosing someone and having a kid actually puts that into perspective. I've found the time I want to play torn dwindling, to find me not even logging in for days on end.

Why am I sitting playing a text based online game talking to strangers when I've got this smiling thing looking at me - taken years to realise that I'd rather spend torn time with family and friends

Honestly, I've just made this thread to thank Chedburn for providing me with hours of entertainment over the last ten years and to apologise to anyone that I've offended / pissed off the time I've been here, honestly, I'm not that much of a bellend in real life.

I'll be dropping back in from time to time, however, as it stands, mans done.

Available in Dubai at present are two primary weapons and one melee weapon, I think there is scope to plug the gap for the secondary market there too. The current best in slot in terms of damage for the secondary would be the RPG Launcher, which is rare, but albeit lacking in use. I propose this new best in slot item for damage and accuracy available at an inflated price to those who wish to use it. 

A new secondary item called the "Platinum Plated Desert Eagle" available in Dubai at the cost of $23,000,000,000.

74-77 Damage; 80-83 Accuracy; 9 Magazine Size; 1-3 Fire Rate; CHR comparable with Handbag.

In line with Ched's future implementation of the Dubai weapons carrying a special effect, I'd suggest either/or the effect of the "Platinum Plated Desert Eagle" to be called:

"Executioner" The bonus would be that the weapon is guaranteed to land a critical hit if the hit doesn't miss if used on the first action of the fight.

"Kickback" The bonus would be that weapon it would have the ability to negate the effect of temporary items for the first magazine only. 

Why? Because why not.

Being on the committee I have access to information that the general player base does not. As such, quotes posted from this point forward will not make sense to the general public viewing this thread.

In regards to the weapon modifications upgrades as discussed in the Weapon Mod Compatibility thread (http://www.torn.com/forums.php#!p=threads&f=44&t=15973472&b=0&a=0) in reference to the last post made in the thread by Chedburn he states in the image that SMG weapons would have full access to all upgrades from the initial release. There is no post made in this thread in reference to the dual primaries stating that they would have no access to specific upgrades.

Is it intentional, or an oversight that the dual primary weapons (all in the SMG) class have not been allowed access to the site which increases accuracy (and i assume has been prohibited from several other accuracy upgrades) nor is it allowed access to the increased magazines.

However, I'm fortunate enough to have in my possession a Pink Mac 10 which isn't prohibited from having access to these weapon attachments, yet it surpasses the duals in magazine size, fire rate accuracy and damage.

If this update was released in order to bring more common weapons in line with more powerful ones, then I don't think it's been a success. Preventing certain upgrades from the dual primaries for no reason (that i can see fee sable) and allowing them on higher tier weapons such as the pink mac 10, gold ak results in a pretty unfair dynamic for the players who are also fortunate enough to own these duals.

There is no reason to disable the accuracy upgrades for these guns, it makes no logical sense to hold back these weapons when more commonplace guns such as the armalite, enfield etc. all now have the potential to have the same damage / accuracy as a golden ak.

Resolution:

• Enable the upgrades that were discussed in line with the original committee thread.
• Disable access to the same weapon modifications which have been disabled for the dual primaries for higher tier primaries available permanently in game.

This thread will ruffle a few feathers and it will open up some discussion, it's not a rant, it's a genuine report which needs addressing.

Considering 1-100 took years, could make 1-150 just a pure cosmetic goal for those that want it considering more and more people are hitting level 100 especially given the way the current warring system is.
