I benefitted nicely from LustyDragon’s giveaway thread in my early days (heck, I still am in my early days) and it was honestly such a nice idea - irrespective of their more recent actions. They had it for a long time and it was nice to see the community coming together to help newbies and veterans alike.
With LD’s permanent departure from Torn I wanted to keep the giving spirit alive with my own Giveaway thread. I can’t promise to give everyone something, but I can promise I will give what I can.
All I ask in return is a nice comment. It can be a funny meme, helpful advice for a newbie or anything else you can think of as long as it’s not hateful.
Donations are also welcome. Since everything can be sold for money the donations can be literally anything to keep this giveaway thread alive - I’m sure newbies would appreciate junk for cash.

Unrelated to this post but why do people buy caches from faction leaders? What’s in it for them? I can’t imagine selling the caches on is very profitable?
Congrats on 100! It will be interesting to see what your next goal is. What about trading income? Could set a target for 1bn profit or so, if that’s your thing…
Good start! As someone who is still flying for plushies and flowers, I’d look into joining a faction with travel capacity perks so you can carry more items back.
I’d also look for a faction that may help with loaning you a large suitcase (again for increased capacity) and a spouse to rent a PI with an Airstrip. That should bring your capacity to around 19 or so, and that’s when the trips become profitable.

Looking for potential better job. I’m currently in a 7* AN with no tax and free rotational trains.
Ideally I’d like 10* AN so I can HJ and have better use for my eDVDs but I’m open to anything as long as I continue getting trained and the perks align with my play style (growing stats).
